Our Building Process

Consultation

There is no charge or obligation for the initial consultation. We will review and analyze the design in terms of budget and construction costs.

Design

Initiating your project requires basic drawings without much construction detail as required by the building department, utility location, septic details, if applicable. When the design phase is completed, the construction drawings can be completed. Specifications should also be provided, these should include materials, appliance and fixture model numbers, colors and specific methods if required.

Estimate

Truitt Construction will provide an estimate based on proposed floor plans, elevations and specifications list as well as labor and materials.

Contract

Our construction contract is completed prior to work beginning. The construction contract will define responsibilies and the payment process. As soon as an agreement has been reached we will submit a written construction plan for your project.

Construction

This plan is the path, the building process to be taken, including a timetable defining scheduled reviews, and the communication methods to be used. In the contract a check list will be developed that will be used through the completion of the project.
